A guide on how to meditate:

1. Find a quite place. You can use headphones or play the music in the background.

2. Sit in half lotus position or sit with both feet planted on the floor with your back straight or lay down flat on your back with palms facing upward.

3. Close your eyes.

4. Take deep breaths and exhale all of the air out of your lungs.

5. Focus on your breath- feeling the air expanding your lungs and leaving your lungs

6. Your mind will wander so be patient and kind to yourself, bring back your focus to your breath.

7. Think of things that make you happy. Be grateful of all the positive things in your life. Let go of your negative thoughts. When negative thoughts enter your mind be kind to yourself and let them go.

8. If you feel pain because of the position that you are in, adjust your body and refocus on your breath.

9. Allow yourself to be one with your self and all that surrounds you.

10. When you are ready, open your eyes slowly. Take a moment to experience your feelings. Stand up slowly, sometimes you might feeling a little wobbly.

11. Enjoy your day, enjoy your life. You only get to live it once.
